Hilary Franz was elected as Washington State’s Commissioner of Public Lands in 2016. As Commissioner, it’s her role to manage and protect nearly six million acres of public lands, from coastlines to forests, farms, and commercial developments. She’s made it her mission to restore wildfire resilience to our forests and prioritized investments in rural communities.
