Around 30 members and guests gathered for our first evening event of the 25/26 Rotary year on Wednesday at FareStart. Members enjoyed refreshments in the private dining room, socialized, and put their organizational history of FareStart to the test! FareStart is a nonprofit that provides restaurant industry job training for individuals facing disadvantages and homelessness.

FareStart received a 2011 James Beard "Humanitarian of the Year" award and has expanded its scope in recent years to add a café and barista training services for vulnerable youth at Echo Glen, a juvenile detention facility.
