Eric Bremner
9/18/1936 - 7/24/2023

Eric Bremner was a member of Seattle Rotary from 1969 to 2015.  He was club President in 2000-01.  Many of our members shared their thoughts about Eric.  Here are just a few.

I’m so grateful Eric’s son reached out to allow us to convey messages to Eric. So often people pass before we can let them know what they meant to us. Eric and I shared a special bond because he was the President of KING Broadcasting  and understood how crazy the business can be. He was always there with an encouraging word and that smile. He could tell when I was struggling, and his support meant the world to me. Just a class act in everything he did. What an example to aspire to. I’m grateful to have known Eric, and I’m grateful for the special bond we have in Rotary. Love to you all. ~ Mark Wright

Growing up with the Bremners, we often gathered for sing-a-longs in my mother’s living room. Eric always encouraged us to sing "Roll On Columbia", belting out the lyrics in his gorgeous baritone. I will always think of him when I hear that song.  ~ Dorothy Bullitt

Services will be announced at a future date.

Rock the Park - Summer program for youth at Mercy Housing (Supported by SRSF)

ARC is requesting a Rotary team to volunteer on Thursday 8/3.   We will be supporting youth from Mercy Housing. Our job is to show up - play games with the kids, chat with anyone willing to talk or hang out with them.

These are kids without solid family structures.  They get their food and summer meals through Rock the Park.

After-Hours gives them a safe place to be with safe adults to engage them in life and community during their summertime which is otherwise without structure.
