MEETING REPORT
No Report.  We don't meet on the 5th Wednesday.
Anthony Garvey reached out to our club a few weeks ago, letting us know he found a 1937 relic from our club he believes his grandparents were gifted. I put Anthony and our club members attending the RI Convention in touch with each other to facilitate the exchange last week as Anthony lives in Melbourne. Larry Granat graciously agreed to meet with Anthony and bring this treasured item back to our club. Please come to an in-person meeting in June to see the memento yourself!

Hands On Opportunity
Saturday, June 24
9:30 AM - Noon

9:30 - Private Tour of REST House
10:00 - Yard work
 Noon - Lunch nearby

REST House is a long term housing facility for people coming out of "the life."  Rotary Club of the PNW Ending Sex Trafficking invites Seattle Rotary to join us for a morning of light yard work to brighten up their home!   Bring your favorite gardening tools, work gloves and personal water bottle.  Write your name on your tools so they are sure to go back home with you.  Wear work clothes and (if you have one) your Rotary T-Shirt!  The Rotary T-shirts show up great in photographs.   Types of yard work:  weeding, trimming hedges, pulling sticker bushes, mowing the lawn, weed wacking, and planting flowers.  This is a nice event to bring children.  If nature calls while volunteering, we may use the lavatory in REST House.  If it's down pouring rain, we'll reschedule.   Pray for nice weather!!

RSVP:  HERE (The Shoreline location will be shared upon registration.)

We're in the Pride Parade!

President's Party in Honor of Beth Knox

Thursday, June 29
5:00 - 8:00 PM @ The Queen City Yacht Club

This annual event will honor 2022-2023 Club President Beth Knox as she wraps up her year serving the Rotary Club of Seattle. This year's theme is "sports" so expect a party experience not unlike attending an arena or stadium game!

Highlights of the night include: Music from Sue Nixon & Band and our very own Rotary Rogues! A short program honoring Beth and her Rotary Club of Seattle Board leadership team! Surprise sports-themed party elements throughout the night! Your favorite gruesome twosome, Pete DeLaunay and John Steckler, reunite behind the bar to serve libations all evening!

Party duration extended an hour from previous years to accommodate more socializing and networking time with your fellow club members!

Significant others or plus ones welcome to attend with paid registration. We do ask that all attendees be 21 and over.

NOTE: The final Board meeting of the year will take place in-person at the yacht club from 3:30-5:00, immediately before the event.
