Do You Have Any Musical Instruments to Donate to Students in Need?
Music4Life is a non-profit and project of Rotary District 5030 that distributes musical instruments to public school students in need.
We welcome any gently used musical instruments you wish to donate. They can be delivered directly to these local music stores that are now open: American Music in Phinney Ridge and Kennelly Keys Music in Bellevue, Lynnwood, and Everett.
Please accompany your instrument with the PDF donation form, linked below.

Please note that the program plan will increase from $20 to $70 per month to subsidize our catering and hybrid AV costs (this will be reflected on your June 1 invoice). Members who are fully retired and not on the Program Plan can pre-register and pay for their lunch at the usual cost of $40.
Every effort is being made by your club leadership and staff to keep membership costs as affordable as possible.

A Plan for Homelessness and Encampments
A summary of Compassion Seattle's Charter Amendment 29, why it's needed, and what it will do to address homelessness and the increase in encampments across Seattle.
Our opening music video was the song The Manoriginally recorded in 2019 by Taylor Swift. Swift's inspiration for the song was to imagine how the media would have treated her differently if she were a man. This version was part of an acoustical set done for The Tiny Desk Concert series on National Public Radio.
If you wanted to revitalize Seattle after this pandemic, who would you choose? A Southerner? A wildlife biologist? Chief of Staff to the County Executive? Climate Action Now coordinator for the Mayor of Seattle? A transportation expert? Why not all of the above? We welcome Rachel Smith, new CEO of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and new Seattle 4 Rotarian.
Managing a busy branch of a major financial institution, being an active member of the Seattle Angels, helping meet foster family needs and, a single parent of three girls under nine years of age, including twins. INTRODUCING THE ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE: VIRTUAL SHORT-TERM EXCHANGE PROGRAM!
This has been a tough couple of years, but Rotary is committed to preserving the exchange in a virtual state! We hope to convert virtual to in-person in 2022. But for now, we are virtual. So let's get started!
Students will participate in an immersive experience, directly with a partner from a host country but will do it virtually! Through the 8-week program, tentatively scheduled for September-October 2021, students will have ‘MeetUps’ weekly with a partner student from another country. US high school students will be matched with a student from Europe, South America, or Asia. The age for participation is 15½ - 17 years old.
Our Rotary Cares team is ready to listen and to support you. One of the wonderful things about our club is that you have many friends --you just need to reach out to tap into our amazing network of caring people. Please contact one of our Rotary Cares Committee Co-chairs listed below to let us know how we can help.
