Zoom: We need some more members to volunteer to be Zoom hosts at our club meetings. You simply admit people from the "waiting room" and mute everyone when the meeting starts. (3 people needed)
Registration Desk: Do you have some time from noon to 12:30 on in-person club meeting days? You'll help take lunch payments, give out name tags to guests, and tell special guests where they're seated. And, you get to say hi to your fellow members. (3 people needed)
Contact Carma if you can volunteer. It's only once a month and you'll be helping us out tremendously.
Terri Lingenbrink
1961 - 2023
We are sad to share the passing of our former member, Terri Lingenbrink. Her husband Steve (also a former Seattle 4 Rotarian and Past District Governor) writes:
It is with a heavy heart that we write this post. Teresa "Terri" Lingenbrink passed peacefully today at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, Arizona. The Hospice is located on "The Loop" on the Rillito River where she used to run daily. Though she fought a valiant battle with her cancer, she took her last breath peacefully on July 9th.
Fortunately she was able to spend much time with her immediate family before her passing. Words can’t describe how much we’ll miss Terri. She lit up every room with her sunny smile and always knew how to make people laugh. She always showed so much care and love to everyone around her!
We love to see our Rotary members promoting good works in our community and abroad! If you have a project or fundraiser that you are excited about and would like to promote to your fellow club members, please check in with our Club Director, Mary Goldie, before distributing information or invitations through our email roster. We value the privacy of our members’ contact information and can let you know the appropriate ways to reach out to folks in our club. Thank you!!
Meet fellow Rotarians and get involved in service. See below for a list of committees. Email the committee chair by clicking on their name. Or, contact Carma McKay for more information.
