From Kindness to Climate Change: Transforming the World through Positive Action

There are one trillion hours of human good intentions that go untapped every year.  Recent studies show Millennials, people ages 18-35, are the most likely to take action to help one another or support a cause they care about. Volunteerism is experiencing a paradigm shift in how these young people contribute to their favorite causes with an unprecedented increase in the use of social media and text messaging to show their support.

Giovanna Mingarelli is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of two international companies: M&C Consulting and MC2. Her reach extends from northern Canada to Washington, D.C. to the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.  Giovanna is an avid contributor and speaker at events and conferences relating to Millennial leadership, crowdsourced social action and the gamification of politics and business. For this work, she has been cited by Harvard Business Review and Forbes, and is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post. In 2015, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).
