Are you tired and overwhelmed from sheltering at home? Has it been difficult to maintain a positive attitude? Do you need some gratitude reinforcement to get you motivated again? Next week’s program will help you to overcome those issues and more to ensure you conquer your quarantine fatigue.
Led by former Seattle 4 Rotarian, David George Brooke, a.k.a. That Gratitude Guy, this presentation is an entertaining, enlightening, and empowering talk that provides tools and techniques to blunt some of the worldwide pandemic effects.
Embracing the incredible power of gratitude and using simple exercises to break old habits and beliefs, enables you to re-form and re-focus your life with a higher trajectory.

Volunteers Needed at the Rotary Boys and Girls Club
The Seattle Rotary Boys & Girls Club, under the leadership of Patrick Carter, has taken on the role of full-day academic support and childcare for the Seattle Public Schools. This means they need to ensure students are online and learning with their respective classrooms. What problem does online learning present? Without human touch and guidance, the students are having their share of struggles. Some of them still can’t read or are having problems with basic math. Unlike the kids who can stay at home, they don’t have a parent or guardian to step in and help them when they run into problems.
Seattle Rotary Boys & Girls Club needs volunteers to come down and help. The time slots 8:30 – 11:30 and 12:30 – 2:30 are available and all COVID-19 procedures are being followed. No reported cases have been identified during the past six months of operation at the club. Volunteers will need to complete a simple background check and follow the guidelines.
Learn more about the Rotary Boys & Girls Club ontheir website.
