The University of Washington December 2023 issue features an article highlighting club member Mike Hatzenbeler and his work as a community builder spanning from his time as a political science major in college to present day at PROVAIL. To read the article, CLICK HERE.
President Nancy called Seattle #4 Rotary Club to order at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She announced new elections coming up and officers. Faith Ireland spoke about the importance of the arts in Seattle going back to 1962, when she first was exposed to the arts via politics. She supported Wing Luke for Seattle City Council.

Volunteer Saturday - Giving Together Drive
Every December, the Wellspring Family Store transforms into a holiday wonderland to provide gifts and toys to children in families experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness. Volunteers will write cards to be included in holiday orders, organize toys, or pack toy orders to go directly to families.
Volunteer Requirements: All volunteers must complete a volunteer applicationby CLICKING HERE and RSVP by CLICKING HERE at least one week in advance of the event date. Masks are required on-site for all volunteer activities.

Seattle # 4 is co-sponsoring a 9 day tour to Kenya to learn more about Rotary service, especially malaria projects and working with Rotary Clubs in other countries.

Do You Have Any Musical Instruments to Donate to Students in Need?
Music4Life is a non-profit and project of Rotary District 5030 that distributes musical instruments to public school students in need.
We welcome any gently used musical instruments you wish to donate. They can be delivered directly to these local music stores that are now open: American Music in Phinney Ridge and Kennelly Keys Music in Bellevue, Lynnwood, and Everett.
